Halloween Dinner

The finished product. It is basically goulash recipe. Since Mike and I just eat this, I used small sugar pumpkins - one for each of us. The squash was super yummy!

This is a traditional Halloween meal of Krista's family. Dinner in a Pumpkin, bread, pumpkin muffins and this year she made a Johnson kids (when she was little) favorite Halloween treat - jack o lantern fried tortillas with cinnamon and sugar.

A classmate of mine from high school recently posted all the seniors pictures of everyone in our class on his Facebook. So I thought I would share my Senior class photo with ya'll! Remember...this was 1992 when this picture was taken...stylish hair had a whole other meaning back then. Can you pick me out? It really isn't that difficult to spot me.

I've Been Tagged

A good friend of mine/my first roommate at Ricks College (I will never call it BYU-Idaho!) tagged me. Thanks, Karin! So here it goes.

1. I love to play board games.
2. I am a closet video gamer. I love to play our Wii even when I should be doing dishes/other housework.
3. I have an Associates Degree in Natural Sciences. I originally wanted to be a Respiratory Therapist. But after my mission, I decided to pursue teaching instead.
4. I love to go camping, but hate all the work of camping. Does that make sense?
5. I want to learn how to rock climb.
6. I built a website while I was in college (complete with HTML codes, animation, graphics)
7. I played 6 years of volleyball (from 7-12th grades)
8. I start projects and don't finish many of them.

a thought

Have you ever felt disconnected? Have you ever built relationships and then had them torn away from you? People assume you know what's going on when you really don't. You hear from this person or that person about things that you should be a part of but you are not, making you feel like a fool. Being disconnected from what you once were a part of eventually wears you down.

Computer Fixed!

After 6 weeks...yes... 6 weeks! of our computer being broken, we finally got it back from Circuit City last night. So now it is catch up time...or maybe I won't attempt to catch up, but just to keep updating as the days progress. I missed my puter!
