Bicycle vs. Mini-van
Mike had a minor accident Friday on his way to work. He rides a bicycle to his job, just 5 miles from the house. While riding with a green light, a mini-van stopped at the intersection to make a right turn, proceeded to make the turn and did not see Mike coming across. The front of the van hit Mike on his left side and knocked him over. He has minor road rash on his left arm and leg and very sore ribs. Thankfully it wasn't any worse than it was. He spent just a few hours in the ER and they released him. He will recover fine, and hopefully soon because we head to Disneyland on Tuesday!

So glad that he will be ok...that is sooo scary! Hope that he feels better so that he can really enjoy Disney Land! Have a ton of fun!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about Mike. Glad he is ok. I had a similar incident last summer, except I was the car that hit the biker. She was going the wromg way and on the wrong side of the road. It was an awful experience though. How long are you staying at Disney Land. We will be there on Friday.

ReplyDeleteCrap, Mike. I know that didn't feel good. Happened to me in Allentown, PA, when I was a missionary - blindsided while riding home in a cloudburst. No fun. Glad to hear you'll be all right! How was Disneyland?
